Reach Operational Efficiency with
Projects
Manage complex maintenance initiatives with structured project coordination.
What are Projects?
Take control of complex maintenance work with Projects—a structured way to manage multi-step tasks, large-scale repairs, and long-term maintenance initiatives. Instead of juggling multiple Work Orders separately, Projects let you group related tasks under a single umbrella for better visibility, resource allocation, and efficiency.
Why Use Projects?
- Centralize work by grouping related Work Orders into one initiative
- Improve oversight with clear timelines and progress tracking
- Allocate resources effectively by managing labor and parts across tasks
- Streamline reporting with a single source of truth for project costs and performance
How to Set Up a Project
- Go to the Projects Module – Select Work from the side menu and choose Projects.
- Create a New Project – Select New, then enter a Project Name, Description, and any relevant details.
- Associate Work Orders – Link related Work Orders under the Project to keep all tasks connected.
- Set Priorities & Resources – Assign technicians, assets, and materials to optimize efficiency.
- Save & Monitor Progress – Track completion rates, costs, and scheduling from the Project dashboard.
How to Use Projects for Better Maintenance Management
- Batch related tasks together to avoid duplicate work and wasted resources
- Assign specific team members to different Work Orders within a Project for clarity
- Track expenses and time to ensure maintenance stays within budget
- Generate reports to analyze project performance and improve future planning
Best Practices
- Regularly review active Projects to ensure deadlines and resource use stay on track
