Connect MVP One to
Zapier
Connect your maintenance workflows to thousands of apps - no code required.
Zapier + MVP One
With the native MVP One integration for Zapier, you can instantly bridge the gap between your CMMS and the rest of your tech stack. This connection allows you to automate repetitive maintenance tasks, cross-reference inventory data, and trigger real-time communications across thousands of business applications without writing a line of custom code.
By creating simple, automated workflows, known as "Zaps,” an operations team can keep critical maintenance data moving seamlessly between departments. Zapier helps users create workflows that connect your apps to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity.
Trigger: A trigger is an event that starts a workflow from MVP One. These include:
- New Purchase Order (PO): This pulls all the PO header information for new purchase orders that can be used and actions with other Zaps. Examples include creating a PO in another system, creating custom notifications, notifying stakeholders, updating accounting systems, and aligning purchasing data with other business applications.
- New Purchase Requests (PR): This pulls all the relevant PR header information for purchase orders. This includes tasks such as initiating approval workflows, alerting procurement teams, and creating purchase requests in another system.
- New Work Order (WO): Automatically notify technicians, create calendar events, and send mobile alerts.
Actions: An action is an event that Zapier performs in MVP One. These include:
- Update PO ID: Updates an existing purchase order ID to synchronize PO records to ensure data consistency across platforms.
- Close PO: Use this action when receiving confirmation that purchasing activities have been completed, and the order should be finalized.
- Create PO Invoice: This enables organizations to automatically capture invoice information from different systems or portals to complete the PO closeout process.
Benefits include:
- No-Code Automation: Set up integrations in minutes using an intuitive, visual builder.
- Triggers and Actions: Automatically initiate and perform actions in external systems when work and purchase orders change.
- Unified Business Workflows: Connect MVP One data to daily productivity, communication, and spreadsheet tools.
Why Use the Zapier Integration?
- Streamline Team Communication: Automatically push key MVP One data into other systems when a critical asset fails.
- Simplify Data Logging: Sync work order completions, labor hours, or equipment runtime milestones straight into business tools like Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for specialized departmental reporting.
- Connect Front-Line Requests: Automatically generate a new maintenance service request in MVP One whenever an IT helpdesk ticket, customer support inquiry, or form submission is created.
- Reduce Admin Overhead: Eliminate the tedious manual copying of data between software systems and keep maintenance and operations teams aligned.
