MVP One's Mobile App has updates designed for maintenance teams relying on CMMS software. These enhancements streamline workflows, improve asset visibility, and bolster field operations for professionals managing work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Five Updated Features
Version 1.5 adds to the mobile app’s existing capabilities, which provide offline capabilities to support maintenance teams in remote or low-coverage environments. These enhancements include:
- New Role Permissions: The role permissions have been updated in the desktop to make it easier for users when they're operating the mobile app.
- Record Images Appear in Search Result: While the functionality hasn't changed, the design has been altered so users have an easier time searching for records in the mobile app.
- Highlighted Required Fields: Like the desktop site, required fields for the mobile app will be highlighted in blue.
- Custom Fields on Asset Records: Asset Custom Fields now appear as part of Asset Records.
- Part Return Enhancement: Users can perform the "Part Return" action from any parts page, allowing for greater flexibility.
Technicians also can view, create, edit, and complete work orders on the mobile app without network access, ensuring seamless task execution regardless of connectivity. Once back online, the app synchronizes changes, which keeps asset data current.
Maintenance personnel can access condition-based alerts, view maintenance history, and monitor upcoming preventive schedules on a single interface. These enhancements enable technicians to effectively prioritize repairs and respond to performance trends before failures occur.
These updates reinforce CMMS as a strategic tool rather than a digital filing cabinet. By enabling field teams to manage repair plans on the go, companies can improve maintenance, improve technician productivity, and strengthen data accuracy across the organization.
